After several years in the private sector, he returned to academia in 2019. In 2021, he completed a Master&#8217;s in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics (Open University of Catalonia (UOC) \/ University of Barcelona (UB)), with his master&#8217;s thesis focusing on the modeling of infectious disease propagation for its application to the study of COVID-19 evolution. Since late 2021, he has been a PhD candidate in Mathematics and Computation at the University of La Rioja (Logro\u00f1o), conducting his research at the Institute of Grapevine and Wine Sciences (ICVV-CSIC) in Logro\u00f1o.
