Herd immunity threshold
The herd immunity threshold is calculated using the estimations for the basic reproducton number (R0) as follows: (1 - 1/R0)*100.
This is the precentage of immune population required to reduce the effective reproduction number to a value less than 1, which means that the probability of new infections gets significantly reduced and the uncontrolled spread of the disease stops.
